perpetual paths: Selected Work

Perpetual Paths consists of works which explore the origins of personal identity and human connectedness. Using Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari's philosophies of the rhizome, assemblage, nomadism and becoming as an underlying foundation for her work, Leddy etches and prints on transparent acrylic, overlapping linear formations. Through the build up layers a unified piece is created out of individual Plexiglas segments, describing the creation and ever changing nature of identity, which grows and alters through accumulated experiences.
