Teenybotanist is a painter and illustrator originally form Treaty 13 Territory, Toronto, ON. She attended OCAD University for Printmaking, with minors in Art History and Indigenous Studies, and was awarded as a medalist for her works in lithography, silkscreen, and lightboxes. She attended Humber College for Arts Administration and Cultural Management, and following her studies, she was selected as the International Artist in Residence for Megalo Print Studio + Gallery in Canberra, Australia.

Teenybotanist's works focus on the connections between people, places, and nature; and the lasting impacts we have on one another. Teenybotanist has expanded her practice into mural painting and graphic design, as well as collaborating with other local artists and photographers by drawing life into their stunning landscapes. Teenybotanist lives in the Rocky Mountains of Canmore, Alberta on Treaty 7 Territory, where she takes inspiration from the wildlife and scenery that surrounds her. In her downtime, she can be found outdoors hiking or climbing mountains, and too often day-dreaming oversized figures into their rolling slopes.
