Teenybotanist is a painter and illustrator originally formToronto, ON. She attended OCAD University for Printmaking, Art History, and Indigenous Studies, and was awarded as a medalist for her works in lithography and silkscreen. She attended Humber College for Arts Administration and Cultural Management, and following her studies was selected as the International Artist in Residence for Megalo Print Studio + Gallery in Canberra, Australia.

Teenybotanist's work focuses on the connections between people, places, and nature; and the lasting impacts we have on one another. her practice has expanded into murals, graphic design, and collaborating with other creators. Teenybotanist lives in the Rocky Mountains of Canmore, Alberta on Treaty 7 Territory, where she takes inspiration from the wildlife and scenery that surrounds her. In her downtime, she can be found outdoors with her adventure dog, Indy, typically hiking, climbing, and skiing, and too often day-dreaming her designs into the mountains she plays in.​​
