Commissioned artwork for the Beautiful Bins Public Art project for the Town of Okotoks. This public art piece titled "Respect the Locals" brings forward many of the guiding principles of the Town of Okotoks vision and mission, embodying environmental stewardship, vibrancy, and fostering the land, which in turn fosters community.

 

This artwork aims to be vibrant, bold, colourful, and playful, while celebrating local biodiversity and encouraging mindful interaction with nature. With a colour palette inspired by the seasons, this design merges nature's beauty with bold imagery, serving as a reminder of our responsibility to coexist harmoniously with the environment and each other.
