Out of Office Mural Festival

Out of Office Mural Festival is a new artist-led initiative founded by Teenybotanist, created with the goal of bringing more colour, creativity, and public art to Canmore and the Bow Valley.

The 2026 pilot launched in partnership with the Canmore Folk Festival, with Teenybotanist live painting throughout the three-day music festival. This is the first step toward building a larger mural festival that creates opportunities for artists while bringing unexpected art experiences into everyday spaces across the community.

The Out of Office Mural Festival branding was created by Stephanie Louise Design (@mild.side), helping bring the playful vision of the initiative to life.

This is just the beginning — we’re working toward growing the festival, creating more opportunities for artists, and bringing even more colour and creativity to Canmore.
